Fish up your BBQ or stink up your house this lovely weekend.
I believe somewhere in the world you are not only craving but also able to BBQ this weekend or you can tone it down a notch and just pull out that grilling pan you once bought at Ikea and used very few times to grill something. The fear of handling, touching, and dealing with anything fishy has decreased since my Christmas cooking experience and it feels good to take more first steps. Prawns are believed to be such a delicacy and actually have such little preparation involved besides having to scrape off the “black” guts and then rinsing you are good to get marinating. Let’s say the hard work comes after while you attempt to eat as you need to figure where to cut and dig for the meat. Some say the beast flavours are in the head but I have not gone there yet. In more simply words use the golden fork; the lovely hands.
So to make something simple that seems so sophisticated and complicated all you need to do is:
Ingredients:
- In a bow mix as much as you need, where you stand on flavouring, and the ratio to amount of Prawns you will be grilling:
- Olive oil
- Juice from 1 Lemon
- Chopped Parsley
- Chopped Garlic
THAT IS IT
Procedure:
Mix and massage like this is your lover on earth and let it sit for at least 30 minutes. Get the grill of choice toasty and you are good to go. With the remaining juice and a brush you can baste the Prawns to really give that extra yum that you will experience full on later. Cooking time is about 3 minutes per side depending of course how you like the temperature of your meat. The goal is to make them look bright red and irresistible.
Go ahead now and impress someone with this easy peasy fancy looking main course.
